Cable Accessories and Solutions

Professional supplier and service provider of power connection system solutions.

Business Introduction

Power cable accessories refer to the intermediate and terminal connections of various cables in a power cable line. Together with the cables, they form the power transmission network. Their main function is to restore the performance of the cable based on its structural characteristics, while also ensuring the extension of the cable length and the proper connection at the terminals.

CB 17.5-36 T-type connector for 36kV and below

The CB17.5-36 is a shielded T-type separable connector made of silicone rubber, used for connecting cables to ring main units and transformers in power systems up to 36kV (the switchgear and transformers should be equipped with type C1 (630A) bushings that meet EN50180 and EN50181 standards).

CC 17.5-36 36kV and below extended type connector

The CC17.5-36 is a shielded, separable connector made of silicone rubber, designed for dual cable connections. It can be connected to the end of a CB product using an M12 double-ended bolt.

CSTI 17.5-36 36kV and below cold-shrink indoor termination

CSTI17.5-36 is a fully cold-shrinkable indoor termination made of liquid silicone rubber, used to connect cables to air-insulated switchgear and transformers in power systems up to 36kV. The pre-molded geometric field control unit is unaffected by system frequency and harmonic content.

CSTO 17.5-36 36kV and below cold-shrink outdoor termination

CSTO17.5-36 is a fully cold-shrink outdoor termination made of liquid silicone rubber, used for connecting cables to overhead lines and other outdoor applications in power systems up to 36kV. The pre-molded geometric field control unit is unaffected by system frequency and harmonic content.

Implementation standards

CSJS 17.5-36 Cold-shrinkable intermediate joint for 36kV and below

CSJS is a straight-through intermediate connector made of silicone rubber, used for cable connections in power systems up to 36kV.

Implementation standards

CSA surge arrester

The CSA is a shielded silicone rubber connector housing for metal oxide surge arresters used to protect equipment (such as transformers, switchgear, and cables) in medium-voltage distribution networks. The surge arrester limits overvoltage surges and overvoltage surges caused by voltage wave reflections. The arrester connects directly to the cable connector CB or the extended connector CC, significantly reducing the overall installation depth.

Implementation standards

CPI-2 Pluggable internal cone connector (size 2 casing)

The CPI-2 is a shielded inner cone connector made of silicone rubber, used for connecting switchgear or transformers in 52kV power systems. The switchgear and transformers should be equipped with bushings that meet EN50180/50181 standards (size 2).

Implementation standards

CPI-3 Pluggable internal cone connector (size 3 casing)

The CPI-3 is a shielded inner cone connector made of silicone rubber, used to connect switchgear or transformers in 52kV power systems. The switchgear and transformers should be equipped with a size 3 interface that meets EN50180/50181 standards casing.

Internal hexagon bolt connector Connector (joint)

The internal hexagon bolt connector is primarily used in SME145 connectors for high-voltage cable accessories. Its main function is to connect the two ends of the cable conductor, restoring reliable mechanical and electrical connection performance.

Grounding box for 72.5-245kV cable systems Grounding box

Grounding boxes are installed at cable terminals and joints, connected to the cable's metal sheath, and are used to limit overvoltages and fault currents in the cable's metal sheath caused by lightning strikes and operational conditions. Cross-bonding grounding boxes are installed at joint locations to cross-bond the cable's metal sheaths, suppressing surge voltages and reducing circulating currents. The shielding voltage limiter (SVL) in the link box is a gapless zinc oxide arrester with an insulation resistance greater than 200 MΩ at the test voltage, so the SVL connection can function normally during cable sheath insulation testing. The specifications of the SVL can be determined according to the requirements of the cable system.

Implementation standards

Discharge Counter and Detector JCQ-10 Discharge Counter

The JCQ-10 discharge counter is connected in series below the surge arrester and is used to record the operating time of the surge arrester. The JCQ-10 is suitable for surge arresters with voltage ratings from 6kV to 245kV.

Implementation standards

115kV polymer-housed surge arrester

Surge arresters help prevent lightning damage to equipment caused by high voltage. They provide a low-impedance path for lightning currents to flow directly to the ground, and then return to their normal operating state.
