Centuray is a high-tech enterprise dedicated to the R&D and application of fundamental materials, providing comprehensive system solutions for the (green) energy and (intelligent) transportation sectors. The company has been recognized as a National “Little Giant” Enterprise—a designation for specialized, sophisticated, and innovative SMEs—and a National Green Factory. Headquartered in the Economic Development Zone of Changzhou, Jiangsu Province, the company operates two major production bases spanning the Yangtze River Delta and the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei regions, covering a total land area of approximately 220,000 square meters and a total building area of about 180,000 square meters. Drawing upon our German heritage, we independently develop and manufacture a diverse range of products, including overhead contact wires for rail transit, medium-to-high voltage power cables and accessories, rail transit inspection equipment, intelligent electrical systems, and high-performance copper and copper alloy materials. Built upon a solid industrial foundation, we extend our reach across the global market, fulfilling our corporate mission to “make transmission boundless, connect the world, and make life better.”

Within China’s electrified railway network—spanning a total length of over 180,000 kilometers (including more than 50,000 kilometers of high-speed rail)—Centuray has participated in the construction of over 80% of all projects, leveraging a core product portfolio centered on overhead contact wires, cables, and cable accessories. Amidst the rapid expansion of China’s high-speed rail and urban metro networks, we have achieved and pioneered countless “firsts”: supplying overhead contact wires for China’s first urban light rail line—Shanghai Metro Line 3 (the Pearl Line); providing comprehensive overhead contact and cabling systems for the Beijing-Shanghai High-Speed Railway—the world’s longest high-speed rail line built in a single phase; and customizing core components engineered for extreme climates for China’s first high-speed railway operating in severe cold environments—the Harbin-Dalian High-Speed Railway. Furthermore, through our involvement in such landmark projects as the Beijing-Tianjin Intercity Railway (featuring 350 km/h-class contact wires) and the Guiyang-Nanning High-Speed Railway (marking the global debut of intelligent 27.5kV cable technology), we have firmly established ourselves as a leading force within the industry.

In the power and energy sector, Centuray has cumulatively supplied over 15,000 kilometers of high-voltage and ultra-high-voltage cables and accessories to the State Grid Corporation, provincial power grids, and rail transit systems. The company achieved a pivotal breakthrough—moving “from zero to one”—within the State Grid, securing a position among its top 17 core suppliers. Furthermore, its specialized cable accessories for rail transit continue to command a 30% market share, maintaining an industry-leading position. Concurrently, the company is actively expanding its global footprint, participating extensively in power grid construction projects in countries such as Germany, Vietnam, Thailand, Brazil, Argentina, and Panama. It also provides services to major international initiatives, including the Singapore Artificial Island Power Project, the International Thermonuclear Experimental Reactor (ITER) in France, and the OGC Natural Gas Project in Australia.

Closely aligned with the “Dual Carbon” strategy and the surging wave of AI development, Centuray leverages nearly three decades of accumulated technical expertise to deeply cultivate the R&D of copper and copper alloy materials. By establishing a comprehensive competitive moat—spanning everything from equipment R&D and manufacturing to materials application research—the company has successfully extended its technological advantages in copper and copper alloys into cutting-edge sectors such as AI computing and data centers, new energy, consumer electronics, power semiconductors, and advanced medical and scientific research.
