On August 16, 2024, the five-day factory testing and acceptance of the 69kV to 230kV high-voltage cables and cable accessories for the Centuray Brazil project was successfully completed. Centuray, with its profound technical expertise and efficient teamwork, ensured the successful completion of this acceptance and delivery process.
This project involved the general contractor in Brazil, third-party on-site witnessing by the Brazilian power authority, and remote synchronous online VR video witnessing by the Brazilian power authority. To accommodate the online video witnessing requirements, Centuray adjusted the testing schedule flexibly according to Brazilian time and responded to customer needs in real time. Following cable structure performance testing, AC withstand voltage testing, partial discharge testing, and lightning impulse testing on sampled cables, the factory acceptance and project testing of all cables were successfully completed.
In the Changzhou park, the Centuray high-voltage accessory technology quality control team, production and delivery team, and installation service team are always ready, working together with dedication and collaboration, and prepared to participate in project acceptance support work at any time. During breaks in the testing process, the Centuray cable accessory technical team conducted in-depth technical exchanges and training with the customer on product installation processes and product structure, covering cable cutting, stripping, grounding connection treatment, core wire treatment, stress cone installation, etc. Their professionalism and rigorous attitude left a deep impression on the customer.
For this project acceptance process, Centuray utilized a full range of high-end imported testing equipment, including a Swiss HAEFELY AC withstand voltage and partial discharge testing system up to 750kV, and a Swiss HAEFELY lightning impulse testing system up to 2400kV.
