On October 13, 2025, local time, Dr. Zafer DEMIRCAN, Deputy Minister of Energy and Natural Resources of Turkey, cordially met with Mr. Shao Qing, Vice President of Centuray Technology Co., Ltd., in Ankara. The meeting took place at the Turkish Ministry of Energy and Natural Resources.
During the meeting, Shao Qing introduced the 30-year history and legacy of Centuray Company. He also provided the minister with a detailed overview of Centuray’s strategic development plan since its relaunch in 2016 after three iterations. He emphasized that as a Chinese company integrated into the international market, Centuray focuses on globalized business, operations, services, technology, and talent, and is deeply committed to specific market segments. He outlined the company’s future global and localized strategy, with a primary focus on the power energy and rail transit sectors.
The minister introduced Turkey’s recent developments in the power, renewable energy, and rail transportation sectors, and stated that Turkey will continue to invest in these areas. He warmly welcomed outstanding companies leading in various industries and fields to develop in Turkey, and assured that Turkey would support their growth with a favorable business environment and industrial ecosystem.
The minister welcomed the visit from Centuray Company, fully affirmed its development philosophy, and inquired why Turkey was chosen as the region for Centuray’s development. Shao Qing explained that Turkey is a crucial hub spanning Europe and Asia, possessing a world-renowned engineering contracting and service system. This is a very important link in Centuray’s “going global” strategy. Establishing a business, service, sales, and marketing system in Turkey will allow them to better reach Eastern Europe, Central Asia, the Middle East, and North Africa.
During the meeting, the two sides also exchanged views on the future industrial development of Centuray Company in Turkey and neighboring countries, and conducted in-depth discussions on the comprehensive development path of Centuray Company in Turkey, from business development to industrial investment.
