Vietnamese local media reported on July 17th that the Côn Đảo Special Administrative Region National Power Grid Supply Project, a key national project in Vietnam, is accelerating its progress across all phases, with the goal of completion and power transmission by 2025. Centuray, as a key supplier, is fortunate to participate in this project, providing a complete set of high-performance land cables and cable accessories, including outdoor terminals, intermediate joints, and GIS terminals, effectively supporting the project’s construction. Upon completion, the project will end the island’s reliance on diesel power generation.

This project is invested and constructed by Vietnam Electricity (EVN), with a total investment of approximately 492.3 billion Vietnamese Dong. The total length of the project is 103.7 kilometers, including: 77.7 kilometers of submarine cable connecting the mainland to the island; 17.5 kilometers of overhead lines crossing Can Tho City; 8.5 kilometers of cables on the island; and the construction and expansion of related substations (Vinh Chau 220kV substation and Con Dao 110/22kV GIS substation).

Since officially commencing construction in March 2025, work on the land, sea, and island sections has been progressing intensely and in an orderly manner, with some key milestones already completed ahead of schedule.

As a key supplier for the project, Centuray ensured the stability and efficiency of critical line connections with its high-performance products and 24/7 responsive service, fully demonstrating our technical strength and reliable delivery capabilities in the field of cable system solutions.

In the future, Centuray will continue to use reliable technology and high-quality delivery capabilities to illuminate every corner of the world with smart and green energy.
