This summer, a quiet change took place in Workshop No. 3 of Centuray’s overhead contact system product line.
A magnetic levitation central air conditioning unit was installed in the workshop. When all six upward-draw continuous casting furnaces were operating at full capacity during the summer, temperatures in certain areas of the workshop had previously soared to 45°C. Now, the overall temperature is maintained at a constant 30°C, ensuring a cool working environment even in the height of summer.
This change was not a spur-of-the-moment decision.
In 2025, Xinchenrui conducted a preliminary assessment of the workshop’s thermal load. After extensive research and comparison, the company developed a customized magnetic levitation central air conditioning solution. Construction officially began in April 2026 and was fully completed before the onset of the sweltering summer heat. Through forward-looking planning, the company prioritized employee well-being from the very first step of the project.
This system does more than just cool the space—
it is highly efficient and energy-saving, reducing operating costs by approximately 50%; it is stable and reliable, effortlessly handling the workshop’s high-temperature, high-humidity environment; and it is quiet and eco-friendly, with operating noise as low as 70 dB(A). Constant-temperature production ensures process stability and strict control over product quality, while also providing dedicated care for every frontline employee.
From green energy supply to constant-temperature workshops, Centuray believes that a good working environment not only creates excellent products but also nurtures a brighter future.
