On the afternoon of April 16, Wang Jianfeng, Secretary of the Municipal Party Committee, conducted an inspection tour in the Changzhou Economic and Technological Development Zone. He emphasized the need to thoroughly study and implement the spirit of General Secretary Xi Jinping’s important speeches on Jiangsu’s work, firmly establish and practice a correct view of political achievements, remain confident and motivated, leverage the advantages of the “Eastern Gateway,” develop new-quality productive forces in a manner suited to local conditions, ensure a strong start to the 15th Five-Year Plan, and accelerate the development of a smart manufacturing base and a model for green transformation.

At Xinchengrui Technology Co., Ltd., a national-level “Specialized, Refined, Unique, and Innovative” (SRUI) “Little Giant” enterprise, Wang Jianfeng inspected the company’s production lines and inquired about its development trajectory and needs in areas such as technology and talent. He encouraged the company to closely monitor industry trends, continue increasing R&D investment, consolidate and expand its market share, and enhance its core competitiveness. He also instructed the heads of relevant departments to conduct in-depth research and accurately identify the company’s staffing challenges in areas such as technological breakthroughs, high-level management, and highly skilled craftsmen. He urged them to expedite the formulation of targeted and differentiated talent policies, promote the deep integration of the talent chain with the industrial and innovation chains, and provide a solid talent foundation for the high-quality development of the industry.
During the inspection, Wang Jianfeng emphasized that officials at all levels in the Changzhou Economic and Technological Development Zone must establish and practice a correct view of political achievements, fully, accurately, and comprehensively implement the new development philosophy, and—with the mindset that “success need not be achieved in my tenure” and the sense of responsibility that “success will certainly involve my contribution”—continuously optimize industrial planning and layout, accelerate the attraction of major projects, revitalize existing underutilized resources, simultaneously advancing the revitalization of traditional industries, the expansion of emerging industries, and the strategic positioning of future industries. They must continuously stimulate the vitality of enterprises as the primary drivers of innovation, promote the deep integration of scientific and technological innovation with industrial innovation, and strive to build a key stronghold for developing new-quality productive forces.
